At times it feels hard to believe that the murder of Michael Brown by former Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson
happened nearly four years ago. What happened after this high-profile shooting of an unarmed black child at the hands of law enforcement? One might say not much- the officers left proceedings without charges, families live on without justice. Others might say so much – stories of black men, women, and children killed by law enforcement without consequence continue to reach local and national headlines. Is it so hard for society to act like black lives matter?
